Christopher Lowman S/S 2019

Christopher Lowman Spring/Summer 2019 happily offers upscale activewear for women and men in equal proportion. Triumphantly titled The Glorious Olympics, Lowman’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection takes inspiration from the 1980’s Summer Olympics. Fusing street style with luxury fabrics in bold colors and patterns, The Glorious Olympics revamps looks from the official Olympics opening ceremonies of that decade, re-imagining it for the modern age by merging sophisticated, clean lines and silhouettes with a touch of edge and featuring lambskin leathers mixed with neoprene, mixed media cow hides, golden tricot nylons, pullovers, and tracksuits all in unique shapes and textures.

The Spring/Summer 2019 presentation took place at Jimmy at the Jame Hotel, Soho, New York.

Kelly Rowland, Tiffany Haddish, Joan Smalls, Whitney Port & more Celebrate with Belvedere Vodka at Harper’s Bazaar ICONS at the Plaza Hotel

 The much heralded Harper’s Bazaar ICONS was held at the Plaza Hotel in New York City on Friday evening, September 7th with Moet y  Chandon Belvedere Vodka.  The event celebrated the annual ICONS issue by Carine Roitfeld. Celebs Kelly Rowland, Tiffany Haddish, Joan Smalls,  Whitney Port and others were on hand sipping Belvedere Vodka cocktails.  The Legacy, Rock n Royalty, Iconic and Limited Editon were the Belvedere cocktails of choice throughout the night.

 

This year's ICONS  included a handful of legendary and stylish musicians with their kids including: Kanye West with North & Saint West, Mariah Carey with Monroe and Moroccan, Christina Aguilera with Summer and Max, Bruce and Jessica Springsteen, Steven and Liv Tyler and Lionel and Nicole Richie.  

The night ended with a special performance by Aguilera, whose set included her hits Genie a Bottle, Stronger and Dirrty.

Ciara Leaves 1 Hotel Central Park in Tom Ford

Looks like new mom Ciara made a fashionable appearance walking out on 1 Hotel Central Park in head to toe Tom Ford, on her way to the designer's runway show at New York Fashion Week.  Tom Ford SPR2018 which took place at the Upper East Side's Park Avenue Armory was the perfect kick off to NewYork Fashion Week. No doubt Ciara was the talk of town! FABULOUS!

NYFW SS17 @ Samsung 837 with Timo Weiland

On  Sunday, September 11th, Samsung 837, the brand’s experiential flagship in New York’s Meatpacking District, continued to give fashion enthusiasts a unique avenue to get up close and personal with two fashion brands who merged the worlds of technology and fashion.

During the morning, Timo Weiland hosted his S/S17 presentation at the cultural hub that was open to the public for all to enjoy and get a first look at the collection. Fans including Kelly Bensimon, Leigh Lezark, Mayer Hawthorne checked out the retro-inspired collection while enjoying tunes curated by DJ Mia Moretti. Samsung 837’s three-story multi-media screen served as the backdrop for the collection with art by Adad Hannah.

ZangToi Fall 2016

True to form  there really is a designer for all seasons.  Come Fall 2016 for a very a particular  type of woman there is  ZangToi's--Courchevel Chic.  If one can imagine themselves swooshing down the slopes of Saint-Bon-Tarentaise in the French Alps, in the Tarentaise Valley, Savoie, Rhône-Alpes then perhaps a piece or two may be for you.   Toi's apparent inspiration was the exclusive luxe Euro ski resort -Courchevel,  think socialite jet-setters on the slopes. Imagine as well a James Bond-esque motif-- imagine it because Tina Turner's Golden-Eye from the Bond Film of the same title, opened the show this season, so the scene is set.

Enter vibrant ethereal hues of grape, raisin, rouge, grey and black which convey the sentiments of  chic timeless leisure.  Standouts include: a rouge couture silk ottoman silver screen star gown w/hand beaded-illusion w/rouge ostrich feather glamorous stole and  Le Raisin couture silk ottoman "Marion Cotillard" gown w/ hand beaded draped halter

Thank you once again, Zang for allowing the incomparable Cory Stearns to grace your runway--the ABT Principal wowed (as always)  this time in a men's noir Loro Piana sports silk quilted ski vest w/ saga royal fox collar and a men's noir wool jersey track suit w/ saga royal mink collar--among other fineries.

CND, the global leader in professional nail care, unveiled a dynamic collection of expensive nail designs tonight at Libertine’s Fall/Winter 2015 Show at Lincoln Center in New York City. With vague references to mythology and Indian culture, the clothing and nails were an assortment of shimmering, glittering molten artwork. The outcome was a high-impact fashion experience featuring an artistic clash of texture and color.
