Fall's Best Cocktails are Here!

Hey There!

Serious ENTERTAINING alert--fall is here and so are the BEST cocktails ever.  Cool nights, light foliage, and hints of burning wood mean fall is just around the corner! And with the season comes a whole new round up of delicious, weather-appropriate cocktails for your sipping satisfaction.  Whether it's a cinnamon-scented autumn kiss or a smooth and creamy chocolate confection, Cointreau’s got you covered with specialty fall cocktails that are sure to keep you feeling warm and fuzzy! Our fave is the Autumn Kiss.. see recipe below.

Autumn Kiss:

1 oz. Cointreau

 1 oz. Mount Gay Extra Old Rum 

1 oz. whole milk or heavy cream

Dash of cinnamon

1-2 Dashes angostura bitte

Combine all ingredients.

Stir, heat, and serve.

SIP IT: All Irish Black & Tan

Ingredients:

6 oz. Smithwick's Ale

6 oz. Guinness Draught in Can

Fill pint glass with Smithwick's just over half way. Pour Guinness Draught beer over the back of a spoon. Stop pouring just short of the rim.

SIP IT: Cointreau Vixen

Ingredients:

2 oz Cointreau

2 ½ oz red grape juice Sparkling water or tonic

Pour all ingredients into an iced filled long drink glass and gently stir. Top with sparkling or tonic water.

SIP IT: Bailey's Cherry Cafe

Ingredients:

1.5 oz. Baileys Coffee Irish Cream (25 oz. per bottle)

1 oz. Captain Morgan Original Spiced (25 oz. per bottle)

1 dash(es) maraschino cherry juice

1 tablespoon(s) cinnamon

1 tablespoon(s) sugar

MARTINI® Dolce La Poire

Ingredients:

3 parts MARTINI® Moscato d’Asti

1 part GREY GOOSE

La Poire 1⁄4 part simple syrup Squeeze fresh lemon In a shaker filled with ice shake MARTINI® Moscato d’Asti, vodka, simple syrup and lemon juice. Strain into a tall highball glass filled with ice and garnish with a slice of fresh pear (or lemon wedge).

SIP IT: Seeing Double

Ingredients: 

3 oz Double Cross

1/2 oz blueberry syrup

2 sprigs of thyme Muddle thyme and syrup

Add ice and Double Cross. Shake well and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with three bleu cheese stuffed blueberries

SIP IT: Don Julio Blood Orange Margarita

Ingredients:

1 oz. Stirrings Blood Orange Mixer (32 oz. per bottle)

.25 oz. Stirrings Blood Orange Bitters

1.5 oz. Don Julio Añejo Tequila (25 oz. per bottle)

1 slice(s) orange

METHOD In a cocktail shaker combine Stirrings Blood Orange Mixer, Don Julio Añejo and Stirrings Blood Orange Bitters with plenty of ice. Cover and shake vigorously. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with slice of orange.

Belvedere Gimlet

Ingredients:

2 oz.Belvedere Unfiltered Intense

1/2 oz.Lime Juice

1 /2 oz. Syrup

METHOD Pour Belvedere Red over ice. Fill with lime juice and syrup. Shake and strain. Pour into martini glass.

SIP IT: Patrón Grapefruit

Ingredients:

1 oz Patrón Silver

1/4 oz Patrón Citrónge fresh grapefruit juice

splash of club soda lemon and lime slices for garnish

METHOD Pour Patrón Silver and Patrón Citrónge over ice. Fill with grapefruit juice. Add a splash of club soda. Garnish with lemon and lime slices

SIP IT: Tall Red Head

Ingredients:

1 1/2 oz. freshly squeezed pomegranate juice* or POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice1 1/2 oz. vodka

4 oz. 7UP Lemon wedge for garnish

Build the ingredients in a highball glass over ice. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
