                     Hey!

Have you heard PMBuzz.com has launched!  So if you by chance missed the very momentous New York City nightlife moment not to worry, The Quest for "it" was there.  Yes, New York City has a NEW social network, and unlike any other that has come before it the launch of PMBuzz.com was the REAL THING.

On Thursday, August 9th carefully selected members of New York's nightlife community gathered to celebrate Fred and Danny Epstien's PmBuzz.com which was hosted by none other than Gossip Gangsta Perez Hilton.  The red carpet VIP reception took place from 9:00 pm -10:00 pm, and as the initial champagne hour passed there were more and more recognizable denizens and those known for reporting on them, notably Celebrity Styleaholic Najwa Moses as well as other industry insiders Life & Style's Kelly Will, Nightlife Boy Wonder Greg Littley etc.   What was really HOT? was the assembly of Project Runway's past diva designers Austin Scarlett, and Malan Breton...where have these two been hiding?  As well as Nole Marin of America's Next Top Model, and the show stopping Queen of New York Nightlife Amanda Lepore.  Yes, this was an action packed night with a BUZZ (no pun intended) not soon to be forgotten, this was just the beginning.

PMBuzz.com is going places with the goal being to fill a gap in on line media for the nightlife scene, first in New York, and then around the country.  The site allows newly signed-up members to connect via the creation of user profiles, identifying friends, sharing media, blogging etc., all with a focus on the nightlife scene.  PM buzz.com is said to bring together entertainers, clubs, promoters, DJs, and club goers and keeps them all on the pulse of what is HOT.

Not long after the initial hour did The Quest for "it" depart--honored to have been a part of a new nightlife revolution....have you been BUZZED yet?  Log on and see what PMBuzz.com is all about!

***UPDATE--Perez My Nutrionist Would Like to Speak with You

Hey There!

Ok well, it's Sunday and neither myself nor my nutritionist have heard hyde nor hair from Perez Hilton since the other night.  WAIT! Nic B. did speak with him for a second Saturday afternoon and Perez said "he was getting his hair cut"...uh OK, and that he'd "call back"...he never did though.   So  now I am thinking Perez is just living the life out in LA, and not looking to slim down right now ... I hear that!

Anyway, speaking of slimming down ... yes, I am actively working with my nutritionist and I am getting great results!  I'll get into the whole thing involving this lil slim down shortly, but for now gotta run.

Perez...My Nutritionist Wants to Speak with You...

*BREAKING NEWS

                     Hi!

This is breaking news...OK well sort of; I just got off the phone with Perez Hilton...yes Perez Hilton.  Anyone who reads this here blog with any consistency knows that yes, I do know Perez...although it has been a good year since we have layed eyes on each other.  Can I just tell you I called him to follow up on a request...OK a plea, an offer sent by me on behalf of my nutritionist Nic B.  Basically Nic B. feels that Perez is in need of his services...WHY? well...Nic indicated that Perez makes references to his own weight jokingly and that is not really a good thing.   HUH? ... this observation made the other night in the rain as Nic B. and I walked back from the Parasuco event was the spark that lead to me emailing Perez.

So what exactly happened? Well, I just received an email from Perez a few minutes ago that read "hey how are you?" WHAT? did he not see the sexy, ripped body pics of Nic B. (that's him at left) and his bio and the offer to help?  I decided to call Perez and as luck would have it he answered.  So we chatted briefly, but as we chatted Perez informed me that he gets regular delivery from Annie's Edibles.  Uh, OK that sounds good, but Annie's is not exactly low fat!  I told him about Nic B., but at this point Perez is a 'kept man.'  In other words, he is not forking over bucks for Nic B.'s services like I do...long story short Perez declined my nutritionist's offer.  Hmmm ... I have a feeling this 'aint' over -- I still have yet to report this to Nic B.

In the interim if anyone's interested, I slipped in a question as to when is the next time Perez would be in Vegas...seeing as maybe I would meet up with him or something.  Apparently, he will be there in December for some Billboard event ... awards maybe? not even sure something for Billboard ... again this is only if anyone cares.  Gotta run, I have a magazine party to go to this evening.

Saturday @ Sundance

Hi!

I feel it best to alert you to the fact that as there are 10 days to the Sundance Film Festival I will be chiming in most days...often sharing what I am MISSING! OK, OK...as you know I'm not actually there...WHAT? neither are you most likely.  So who is? well lots very, very big people** including fellow blogger Perez Hilton.  I am sooo not hating on Perez but I have to say I am feeling very lonely and left out as I could not make it there this year. Cool Indie film stars, industry insiders, party people...it is all just a non-stop love fest...of sorts.  So I have no choice but to shoot for next year!

In the meantime I found that Perez apparently was living the life O'Reilly in the Levi's Lounge and other big name New Yorkers like Lizzie Grubman were making pit stops to the Marquee Lounge.  Well...big deal...who cares? I know that spectacular things await anyone who shows their face in say...The Volkswagen Lounge.  What? ...yes...that's correct...The Volkswagen Main Street Lounge opens at Sundance today Saturday January 21st and runs through Tuesday January 24th.  I find myself knowing all about the so-called gifts that will be bestowed...the gifts that the media and industry people commonly refer to as schwag.

Wow!  How do you stay motivated in a city where the bulk of its major players***  and those who aren't even so major (depending on your perspective) are ELSEWHERE most of the year?  WHAT? well I think you heard me.  It is hard...damn hard...who am I talking about EXACTLY?  Well...no need to go into all of the specifics, but it is quite a list. 

I was speaking with a hot young publicist the other day, and she was telling me that her friend Perez Hilton was in LA.  So what? ...Who cares?  Am I in LA?... NO!...so who cares...ONLY KIDDING!...I was fairly excited because as we all know, I am looking to strike GOLD out therrre in them...therrre hills!  If you are reading this and wonder who the hell Perez Hilton is, then you (like I once was...until I had wine and cheese with him last month on the same publicist's balcony) are not tuned into the proper station...the New York City & elsewhere "station".  At of the time of this post, looks like he's in Vegas.  So you see my CONSTANT references to Vegas are not so off the mark. Speaking of which...

I find myself knowing that Sunday, October 16th is DJ Time at an undisclosed location in Vegas...where Mixmaster Mike (Mike D) of the Beastie Boys is spinning.  Well I'm not sweating this one because I am well on my way!...to the other cities that is...so to this I say...see you when I see you.
