Hi,
For Spring/Summer 2013 Simon Miller continues to stand at the crossroads of modernism and the American West, presenting a collection of classic jeans, knitwear and shirts made entirely in the US from natural fabrics. Timeless materials and durable construction are intrinsic traits of the Simon Miller brand.
Known for their wearable jeans that continue to get better with age, Simon Miller introduces one main silhouette for Spring/Summer 2013, a slim-straight fit made exclusively from Japanese selvedge denim and offered in a range of unwashed or vintage style color ways. Seasonal styles include dry denim in shades of white and steel blue, vintage treatments achieved with O-Zone waterless technology, and an expansion of the 2x1 series denim, which is noted for its tight construction and clean finish. Subtle details including classic punch-through rivets and antiqued hardware complete the look.
For the second consecutive season, Simon Miller offers a selection of shirts
and knitwear inspired by its denim roots with an emphasis on textured linen and
indigo piece dying. A shawl cardigan and a roll v-neck sweater are made from
100% linen and hand loomed in the US in Marine, Jungle, and Sand hues. For
shirting, the Ridge style presents a classic Americana work shirt, available in four
plaid color ways and a chambray version made from 100% Japanese linen that is
indigo piece dyed.
The Simon Miller collection is an interpretation of basics, designed in reliable fits
and aged with uniquely developed wash treatments for a lived-in feel. Quality
materials and construction combine with a thoughtful approach to fit for Spring/
Summer 2013 to further establish the brand’s uncompromising and authentic
aesthetic.
