Giuliana Rancic is no stranger to media scrutiny. As a host on E! News, the 34 year-old Italian-American beauty who normally reports on celebrities and their very public dramas, is now experiencing her own.
Rancic has been very forthcoming with her struggles to get pregnant, and as a result, has been trying to gain weight in order to do so. And although she may seem used to the spotlight, she admits the media's obsession with her weight fluctuation has gotten out of control.
"I work in a really superficial industry," she told UsMagazine on Sunday night, after the Oscars. The scrutiny has taken it's toll on Rancic, who admits she 
uses Google alerts to keep track of news about her on the web. "I mean, I am getting Google Alerts saying, 'You look good with the weight gain.' They don't realize they're being mean by saying you look good fatter."
Even Perez Hilton has joined the bandwagon and taken stabs at the E! News anchor. "You'll look so much better and you'll be that much more likely to have a baby," he blogged.
Though the jabs can be tough to deal with, Rancic admits she is dealing with it all as best she can. "It's enough to drive any girl a little crazy. But it's okay. What can I say? There's nothing I can do about it."
