Designer Chong showed a fairly strong collection of evening wear for Spring 2015. The collection conveys a sense of dreamy romance --a rather intense romance--reminiscent of a far off place, think an Indochine flair. Cha explained that her inspiration is. I've always had a love for the 20s and 30s era. I love how the ladies of those years dressed- very glamorous and sophisticated. My inspiration comes from a lifestyle of how I see women of confident wants to be dresses. A women who's not afraid to be sexy showing a little of skin where it's tasteful. The style line and cuts on each dresses has a flare of the 20s and 30s. I love anything fringe. I love the movement of it when it moves. How fun and playful it makes a dress look as seen on the flappers in the 20/30s.
Sexy and daring Cha uses sultry sheer colors of black, champagne, ivory and Sia blue. Backless and halter looks can only be worn by the fiercest of fashionists, wanna-bes need not apply.
Standouts include: a Sia blue drape fringe cocktail dress; a sequin kaftan backless dress.
