On Sunday, September 11th, Samsung 837, the brand’s experiential flagship in New York’s Meatpacking District, continued to give fashion enthusiasts a unique avenue to get up close and personal with two fashion brands who merged the worlds of technology and fashion.
During the morning, Timo Weiland hosted his S/S17 presentation at the cultural hub that was open to the public for all to enjoy and get a first look at the collection. Fans including Kelly Bensimon, Leigh Lezark, Mayer Hawthorne checked out the retro-inspired collection while enjoying tunes curated by DJ Mia Moretti. Samsung 837’s three-story multi-media screen served as the backdrop for the collection with art by Adad Hannah.
Most noteworthy moment? Timo Weiland paid tribute to the 15th anniversary of 9/11 with a live performance opening up the event by Jeremy Danneman playing “Autumn in New York” on the saxophone.
