Our 5 Favorite Looks from the Costume Institute Gala 2013

An expectedly grand red carpet, that ensures you will be seen by MILLIONS in that true NYC sort of way, keeps most fashionsitas (the wold's greatest celebs and supermodels) on their toes weeks in advance and probably weeks after.  The Costume Institute Gala 2013 aka Met Ball ruled the town last night, bringing traffic to a near halt at New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Though some attendees found the punk theme a fairly easy one to master--others did not. We chose 5 of the most interesting, racy, and colorful and best put together looks from the 2013 Costume Institute Gala and believe us, this was no easy feat.  The Quest for 'it" Top  5 are as follows: Cameron Diaz in Stella McCartney, Beyonce in Givnchy, Madonna in Givenchy Haute Couture, Socialite Julie Macklowe in Zang Toi, and  Super Model Giselle Bundchen in Anthony Vaccarella.

Fashion Spotlight: Coco Rocha in Emanuel Ungaro at the Met Ball

Super model Coco Rocha wore an Emanuel Ungaro by Fausto Puglisi leopard print gown embellished with gilded ornaments to the “Punk: Chaos to Couture” exhibition at the Costume Institute Gala of the Metropolitan Museum of Art last night, May 6th.

As customary with celebs and supermodels alike, Rocha hit the carpet with the designer of her lovely gown-- Emanuel Ungaro Creative Director Fausto Puglisi
