Sachin and Babi's Fall 2013 Presentation was entitled 'a Celebration of the Constellations'. The collection, an impeccable and well-crafted group of twenty-four pieces is the epitome of the well dressed woman-chic yet understated, classic yet modern, vibrant and even sultry. This is a truly pristine collection.
A kaleidoscope of chartreuse, mint and midnight tones were reminiscent of the captivating light of Aurora Borealis. “We were inspired by the rich complexity of The Northern Lights,” said designers Sachin and Babi Ahluwalia. “The colors are constantly transforming and we wanted to capture this powerful beauty in each piece we created.”
Fabrics range from the very futuristic neoprene, silk, boiled wool, and textured tweeds. Standouts include: a a hand cut satin and crystal embroidered top paired with a herringbone skirt and a patent leather belt with zipper details; and a cropped neoprene blazer a blouse with Maco bead detailing, an neoprene trousers matched with am aurora print neoprene clutch.
