Dwayne Wade Names Alejandro Ingelmo as a Creative Consultant

NBA All-Star basketball player Dwayne Wade  has named footwear designer Alejandro Ingelmo as Creative Consultant in a partnership with China’s leading sportswear company, LI-NING, to create WADE, a new athletic and lifestyle footwear and apparel collection. Dwayne Wade personally selected Alejandro Ingelmo to be the Creative Consultant for WADE, representing Dwayne's first design hire as Chief Brand Officer for WADE.

Alejandro Ingelmo's first design for WADE will be a lifestyle/basketball cultural sneaker that leverages the Way of WADE on-court shoe that Wade has been wearing during games this season. The shoe will be available in Spring 2013 after debuting during Alejandro Ingelmo's Fashion Week Presentation in New York City in February 2013.
