Designer Catherine Malandrino's Spring 2013 Black line is perfection! Described as "an overall mixture of chic elegant French concepts mixed in with the urban fast paced New York City look. A color palette comprised of light creams, white and pastels are constants. Spring fabrics include a mixture of light weight durable threads with special use of guipure. Looks that contain various crochet-like designs--spiderweb and /or diamond are included. Geometric beading from diamonds to rectangles to squares are repeated. Exemplifying Malandrino's current inspiration trend is a suede motor cycle jacket which embodies the edginess of New York with Swarovski beaded crystal adding the femininity of the French persona.
