Hi!
The Scent of Departure, a new line of perfumes that captures the essence of an individual city in a bottle, landed for a week at Henri Bendel New York. Following a recent kick off party that brought the bubbling mind behind the fragrances Gerald Ghislain to introduce the collection and talk about the creative process, Ghislain hosted a blogger tea with Tineey. Readers were able to discover the original concept and more. The entire week meant quizzing guests on which The Scent of Departure scent suits them best. There were certainly surprises with visitors having a chance to win a three-night trip to Paris.
Magali Senequier, the other half of the brand designed a special set, with a wall full of hundreds of perfume bottles, 240 mini planes hanging from the celiing, and an amazing replica of an airplane wing displaying the 20 fragrances. The ephemeral store transported attendees back to the time of Pan Am.
