It's off and running with one more day to go! Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin combines an exciting mixture of top international designers and young ambitious new talent.
As title sponsor of the event, Mercedes-Benz supports this unique event for creative interaction in the German capital city for the ninth time. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin takes place from July 6-9, 2011.
Day 1 saw Michael Sontag, Lena Hoschek, Dimitri, C'est Tout, Strenesse Blue, and Basler. Day 2 meant Schumacher, Allude, Laurel, Rena Lange, Mongrels in Common, Peter Schaad, and Patrick Mohr.
Standouts for Day 1 include Dimitry for their infusion of several day to evening looks (exicting use of silks and chiffons) and Strenesse Blue's sophisticated pants looks and splashes of color via red, blue and yellow. While the summery soft often sheer looks of Allude on Day 2, bring a sense of calm chic via off-white minmalist cashmere sweater dresses, mini dresses and full length variations. Also noteworthy are Peter Schaad's light weight outerwear in neutral tones and day looks sharp dresses and separates (also near sheer) done in accents of by orange and grey blues.
Celeb attendees include: Hilary Swank, Ryan Kwanten, Boris & Lily Becker, Noah Becker, Eric Bana, Colton Haynes, and others .
