Helen Yarmak Fall 2010

Helen Yarmak's Fall 2010 Collection, debuted with a private showing of brilliantly vibrant furs offering a complete range of exciting options for the well-seasoned fur loving lady.  Designer Helen Yarmak, best known as the Queen of fur, capitalizes on the luxurious look of fur via carefree styles that break from traditional full length looks. Enter sable, mink broadtail, fox and rex that are done as: over-sized vests, cropped jackets, three-quarter sleeves and short sleeve kimono-style coats. Capes an knee-length looks rule the collection.

Youthful exuberance is found in the details--edgy zipper trims and over-sized funky zippers; mink pom-pom on silk and velvet, lace and silk trims, leather and suede inserts. As several pieces are fully reversible there is plenty of room for options.  

Seeking the ultimate sexy silhouette? Look no further, it may be best found in a standout such as an emerald green knee-length hooded fox (see photo at left). Other colors for the season consist of additional jewel tones such as ruby or sapphire, neutral tones of greys, browns and blacks, and fiery looks done in orange and purple.

Helen Yarmak, recently celebrated the collection with a silent art auction benefit cocktail showcasing both her Fall Winter 2010 Fur and jewelry collection.  It was styled by the renown Patricia Field and included Olympic Gold Medalist figure skater, Oksana Baiul--all benefiting the NYU International Prostate Cancer Research Foundation.
