Society Spotlight: Stephanie Newhouse

It was a brilliant opening night for the New York City Opera this past  Thursday November 5th.  Patrons of the arts descended to the newly renovated and renamed,  David H. Koch Theater.  Among the stately cognoscenti were some of society's better dressed ladies.  While the evening was set for the performance, the real stir occurred some half-hour or so before on the red carpet.  Enter Social Stephanie Newhouse (a cousin by marriage to, yes, that Newhouse family) in a glamorous red gown that would render most everyone speechless.

The very sultry, yet romantic red halter gown was a recent purchase.  As Mrs. Newhouse described, "the dress is BCBG Runway,  I bought it right off a Charity Fashion show runway at Bloomingdale's yesterday. It was the finale of the show, and as soon as the model took it off, I bought it!" 

Sounds just delightful to us!  The evening commenced with attendees enjoying a gala of all American Voices, a concert of beloved selections from American Opera and musical theater.
