Hello!
Recently, Moschino, Vogue, and the Whitney Contemporaries hosted an EXCLUSIVE preview of Moschino's Spring 2010 collection. The perfect pre-cursor to the upcoming Whitney Studio Art Party on Monday, October 19th, the fusion of art and fashion was a clever one. Amidst the Moschino clad models, strategically positioned throughout the store, and between sips of white wine and hors d'oeuvres was the evening's host, as well as countless members of the Whitney Contemporaries, both Co-Chair and Committee Members. We spoke with one of the evening's co-hosts in regards to the event, Executive Board Member Melissa Gellman Weiss who shared her enthusiasm, "we're all really excited to be here, it's an amazing affiliation for the Whitney, and it's a natural partnership for Whitney and Moschino because there's an emphasis in supporting young artists, and the collaboration tonight is amazing; we're all just really excited, of course, to meet the artists."
The evening's highlight? The featured work of artist Ryan Humphrey, currently on display in the Moschino boutique window.
