It was a whirlwind literally backstage at Vivienne Tam. Countless numbers of video interviews ranging from Fashion News Live to Pepsi. We spoke with 19 yr. old Australian Model Codie (DNA) who was the final girl in make up after arriving later from another show. Makeup was done by Master Artist Gucci Westman for Revlon
Academy of Art University
The Theater tent Backstage at the Academy of Art University was calm, cool, and collected. With models in hair and makeup seemingly ahead of time. We spoke with Josefine a 20 yr. old model from Denmark, her agency Elite. AAU was her first show of the week. Also backstage one of 7 Designers for the season Kate Lee who spoke of her of artistic/sculptural inspiration and in her love of Alexander McQueen & coming to New York post graduation

Women's Wear Daily: Helena Christensen Applauds Call for Roomier Clothing Samples

Hello!

You know that you are truly in the year 2009 when models or shall we say former supermodels, make requests for clothing to be...GASP..."roomier". Model turned-snapper Helena Christensen agrees with British Vogue Editor-in-Chief Alexandra Shulman's call for roomier clothing samples. She tells Women's Wear Daily: "It's about time somebody takes action. Obviously I am of the same belief...aren't we in a business that is suposed to explore all kinds of shapes and silhouettes?...The orignal supermodels all had shape...and photography in the past was all about the organic sensual shapes of bodies." Now a days lot of designs have arrived in to womens fashion style. But one of the key items every woman should have is a pair of jeans that flatters your figure and can be dressed up or down. Women in jeans looks sexy and gorgeous.
