Hey There!
Over the weekend a dear friend of ours, Derek Warburton, who affectionately brands himself under his smash internet show title Derek Loves Shopping threw a brunch to END ALL brunches at the Nolita eatery Room 18. You've heard of walking the red carpet have you not? Well this past Sunday, May 17th select attendees walked the lavender carpet. The catalyst behind the morning to afternoon PRE-SHOPPING fest, where several hammed it up for repeated flashbulbs, was the need to assist local businesses via shopping. This included buying brunch at the family owned restaurant and items from the boutique shops nearby. While many swirled around the lavender carpet, no doubt from several sips of Shop-A-Holic Sangria, we were cool as cucumber posing with Derek (see photo above) who was looking FIERCE! Attendees included: Alex McCord & Simon van Kempen of the Real Housewives of New York City fame, Recording Artist Alexandra Alexis, Social Stephanie Newhouse, former reality TV star turned Social Jen Marden, Writer Britten Heft, Celeb Stylist Keino Benjamin and several others.
