Hi!
Beauty is in the air! At least it was last night at Saks Fifth Avenue's 8th Floor Cafe. LeMetric Hair Center, Saks Fifth Avenue and emerging online magazine, Betty Confidential.com joined forces for an incredible evening. The women's event about empowerment, featured an expert panel of women who spoke about their personal journey's toward confidence (in love, life, and career), providing inspiration and practical tools for helping us all look and feel our very best. The LeMetric Evening of Reinvention consisted of makeovers by Estee Lauder, hors d'oeuvres and cocktails, personal shopping consultations, Saks discounts, hair consultations with LeMetric, raffles including Saks gift cards and a $2500 Smile Makeover by Celeb Dentist Dr. Apa--and of course motivation and inspiration by a panel of 3 lovely ladies; all taking place on the recently revamped shoe floor at Saks Fifth Avenue.
The panel featured: Elline Surianello (CEO & Founder of LeMetric), Dr. Valerie White (Psychologist, Executive Coach, and Author), and Lois Joy Johnson (Magazine Editor/BettyConfidential.com-see photo at left). Once the panel got started the talks became more emotionally charged. The event covered from 'hair to toe', and everywhere in between. While much of the conversation was about hair, and a woman's relationship with her tresses, the defining theme encompassed the idea of taking a negative struggle, a constant presence in one's life (such as hair loss, in this case of Elline Surianello herself) and turning it into a positive -- very enlightening indeed.
Notable guests included: Tia Walker, Carol Kim, Jennifer Goodkind, Aryn Quinn, Michelle Finkelshtyn, Yuli Ziv, Bebhinn Timmons, Ana Davies,Lois Joy Johnson, Brenda Dargan, Michelle Madok, Sandy Linter, and many others.
