Diamond Empowerment Fund Launches "Africa's Angels" Ambassador Program and Gears up for Diamonds Give Fundraising Event at Greenhouse in NYC on Nov. 19th

The Diamond Empowerment Fund (TM)(DEF), fresh from successful, sold out fundraiser in Dallas last weekend, is gearing up for its Diamonds Give 2008 Greenhouse New York Fundraising Event ,*** taking place on Wednesday, November 19 at the new, environmentally conscious Greenhouse nightclub, located at 150 Varick Street in New York City. The event will be co-hosted by Russell Simmons and celebrity illusionist David Blaine, and co-chaired by South African supermodel Nicola Breytenbach and her husband, Benjamin Steiner.
At the Diamonds Give 2008 event, Simmons will officially launch Africa's Angels, a new Ambassador Program for D.E.F. Each Africa's Angel will be selected for their compassion and commitment to D.E.F.'s mission in support of the organization's vision to help Africans through education that empowers and provides tangible skills to help build lives.
Nicola Breytenbach will be named the organization's first "Angel." Nicola has graces the pages of Cosmopolitan, Elle, Vogue and Marie Claire, walked the runways of Milan, Paris, London and New York for designers Chanel, Galliano and Dior and been chosen for campaigns for Revlon and L'Oreal.
