With the absence of last year's Summer of Soul Concert in East Hampton, this summer's fete is sure to be the creme de la creme of performance-based events out east. The perennial VH1 Summer of Soul Concert is set to take place at 7:00 pm on Friday, July 18th...TONIGHT. The EXCLUSIVE Hamptons event will take place at EMM Group's THE Estate (one of the many invite only swag houses), and will be hosted by Socialite Jaci Reid and husband Morris L. Reid.
The evenings itinerary is fierce and boasts a headlining performance by R&B crooner NE-YO with additional performance by Solange Knowles. Sound good? WAIT! there's more, not only will celeb DJ Sky Nellor be manning, or should we say womaning (tee hee) the ones and twos, the even more impressive deal is the laundry list of celeb attendees expected. Expected to grace the event with their presence are: Lorraine Bracco, Aretha Franklin, Tracey Edmonds, Chrisette Michele, John Sykes, Jaci and Morris Reid, Joyce Varvatos, Anthony David, The Real Housewives of New York Ramona and Mario Singer, American Idol's Jared Cotter, and All My Children's Chrishell Stausse, Sterling Sulieman and Rick Paull Goldin.
