Hi,
Are you familiar with Digital Wednesdays? Perhaps you should be! Last week's session was CRAZY fun, and it had been nearly a month since we stopped into an interim Soho session. What are we talking about? Digital Wednesdays of course. Forget the BORING networking nights that follow long days of your nose to the grindstone, forget geeky computer kids, Digital Wednesdays is "New York's weekly networker for the online world's Movers & Shakers." If this is sounding like your kind of thing, then we suggest you get out to the Meat Packing District's Hotel Gansevoort's ONO between 7:00 pm & 10:00 pm TONIGHT to check things out for yourself.
The brainchild of Max Ramirez and Michael Demby (see photo top left-Michael Demby), two hipster tech world execs, the scene they've created connects everyone from online Ad Sales Rep's and Digital Account Managers to IT. Last week's gathering spilled over from the sultry bar scene at ONO to a private back room where attendees shared their thoughts on the industry and more over a bottle of premium vodka. Those that were too engrossed in conversation (that's us) stayed at the bar and enjoyed massive amounts of sushi. Yes, clamp on a pink wrist band and enjoy selections from a specially priced discounted bar menu only for Digital Wednesdays patrons, all while enjoying intelligent conversation with those in the know.
Who said cyber/tech networking WASN'T fun? We remember the old-fashioned networking parties in swampy bars with non-conversant industry hopefuls...and they have NOTHING on this!
;)
