Hi!
The word is out that LIFEbeat, the Music Industry Fights AIDS, will honor BET Network's Executive Vice President of Entertainment and Music Programming, Stephen Hill on Tuesday, December 4th in New York City. The event will feature a special performance by Mary J. Blige and other performances will be announced shortly for the Highline Ballroom event.
LIFEbeat is honoring Stephen Hill's long standing commitment*** to fighting AIDS/HIV with "LIVE BEATS, A Night of Musical Mayhem and Tonal Terror Fashioned by Fun(k)." Stephen has been a LIFEbeat board member and supporter for close to 10 years. The very special LIFEbeat event is set to feature not only live celeb performances, but will offer a chance for one lucky auction winner (yes, there's an auction) to win an opportunity to perform a song on stage with the same 10 piece band utilized by Mary J. Blige. In addition, the auction will be hosted on Ebay and go live on Tuesday, November 20th at 4:00 pm Eastern Time, allowing the winner to join the ranks of multiple musical legends.**** The auction package is also set to include (4) reserve seats so the winners family and friends can see them take the stage. *** - Stephen Hill's commitment is based on his personal loss of his best friend to AIDS almost 20 years ago.
**** - Paul McCartney, Lou Reed, Carlos Santana, James Blunt, and others who have graced the Highline Ballroom stage.
