Brooklyn Fashion Weekend Off to A Late Start
Hey There!
The build up for Brooklyn Fashion Week (end), here in New York, has been a bit understated at The Quest for "it"--as we were not quite sure if we would cover it for this here blog. However, after speaking a few Fridays ago by phone to designer Malan Breton (Project Runway), and finding that he would be the
first designer to show for the weekend, we decided to get our
credentials. Unfortunately, Friday's inclement weather pushed all of the Day
1 designers--Malan Breton, Edwing D'Angelo, Nana Boateng over to Day 2 on Saturday. Day 2 was set to feature Designers Nico & Adrian , two group shows,*** and close with designer Alisha.
So today will be the official start of Brooklyn Fashion Week (end) for SPR 08. The Quest for "it" will be present doing an EXCLUSIVE editorial, and may even get a photo or two. We will keep you posted so STAY TUNED....
***- Group show 1--Envi (Women), Catou (Men); Group Show 2--Joan Vacciana (Women), Rico, Royal Addiction
