Only 1 Week Left to NEDA's Every BODY is Beautiful
Hello!
As I've mentioned repeatedly over the last month or so, there is just no shortage of shopping events this time of year and the greatest ones just keep coming! There is only one week left to the very worthy cause of Every BODY is Beautiful, the on-line fund raising auction that will run til December 6th. At first reading about the auction I was a bit thrown! The National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) offering holiday fashion shopping? who knew? However, as I found out more it became a moral imperative to share this very worthy news. Jewelry, handbags, clothing collectibles etc. can be bought. Designer items from Marc Jacobs to customized autographed pieces from celebs like Jamie-Lynn Sigler can be had and most importantly NEDA offers a Top Ten List of items-- a lil heads up for the super conscious shopper.
One of the Top Ten items is a piece by Karin Collins of SpoonFed.*** A known contributor to the cause of the awareness of eating disorders, SpoonFed offers a very special pendant boasting its own logo--the most popular item of the auction. The unique SpoonFed designs are sweeping the world and hopefully will touch your heart and open your pocketbook as we head into the holidays. The Quest for "it" salutes SpoonFed for its incredible artistic work, alongside several other publications**** over the last year, wishing them much success in the last leg of the auction.
There you have it so you know what to do!
***-SpoonFed consists of wearable art spoon necklaces designed by Karen Collins. SpoonFed art is an extension of Ms. Collins caring spirit -- she originally created her jewelry as art-oriented therapy to overcome a serious eating disorder she'd been battling for almost 20 years.
